FALL INFORMATION SESSION FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS
We invite parents/caregivers to learn more about your student’s education at Provincetown IB Schools. Join us tonight to hear presentations from all of your student’s teachers. Visit classsrooms and learn more about our IB curriculum and unique learning opportunities. Provincetown IB Schools annual FIELD DAY
When: Thursday, June 13, 2024
Where: Motta Field
Schedule:
PYP 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Games, Inflatable Obstacle Courses, Dunk Tank*, face painting, tattoos, and Awards
ELC P3 & P4 11:00-12:00
Inflatable obstacle course, face painting, and tattoos.
11:30- Athletic Director and Recreation Director hand out awards to PYP and MYP recipients.
12:00- Lunch begins, starting with ELC P3- PYP 4 students. PYP 5 and MYP 1-3 will join the lunch line after all PYP 4 students have gotten their lunch.
12:30- PYP classes return to the building or can stay at the field under the supervision of their classroom teachers and ESP’s.
12:45-1:00 Set up for MYP field day activities. MYP students can use this as an outdoor recess period on the field.
MYP 1:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m.
Games, Inflatable Obstacle Courses, face painting, tattoos, and the Dunk Tank*. MYP teachers make sure your students come to the field prepared for dismissal.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
All students must bring sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle.
*Dunk Tank Rules:
PYP 3-MYP 3 students, staff, and police officers are the only ones allowed to sit in the dunk tank.
Provincetown School’s dress code will be used to determine if a student is properly dressed to sit in the dunk tank: t-shirt/swim shirt, shorts/skorts, towel, and a change of clothes. If any of those items are missing then you will not be allowed in the dunk tank but you can still participate by throwing the ball at the target.

Families who drive their children to school can drop them off at The Commons, 46 Bradford St, Provincetown. We will leave the Commons between 8:15am and 8:20 am. The buses will drop any students who want to participate at the Commons as well.
